Rolling Holler

At long last, our dreams of taking our little Southern grit lit on the road have come to fruition! Meet our newest addition to the AG Fam–April Gloaming’s Rolling Holler, a trailer outfitted to sell our books, complete with a dropdown stage to increase access to Southern literature everywhere the road takes us. Its maiden voyage will be kicking off in Summer 2027, where we will cover 8 states and 2,650 miles in a mere 20 days along I-40 from Wilmington, NC all the way to the Santa Monica Pier in California. Along the way, we will have 17 stops at mostly truck stops, bringing access to literature to rural areas that have been historically underserved or passed by during the typical literary tour. This is the heart of the Rolling Holler–to put literature in the hands of those who are not normally surrounded by it.

This project has been in the dream stage for us for over 5 years now, since our nonprofit inception, when the world was changing and office space and landscapes were shifting. We figured it best to purchase a place that could travel to where our readers are, and not the other way around. April Gloaming’s Rolling Holler has been purchased and is in the process of being custom-outfitted to fit our needs. At this time, we are asking for donations to help us recoup some of the costs the renovations have taken, and also to give you all, the AG Fam, a chance to be part of the Rolling Holler legacy forever.

Donation Tiers

Though a gift of any amount is accepted with the utmost gratitude, giving a little more to our dream-project comes with some great perks:

$250: Star on the “Holler of Fame.” On the ceiling of the Rolling Holler, a star with your name, or any customizable name, that will be part of the Rolling Holler’s legacy forever.

$500: Star on the “Holler of Fame” + a limited edition merch pack (trucker hat, shirt, sticker pack, among others) ($100 value).

$1000: Star on the “Holler of Fame,” limited edition merch pack ($100 value), + 2 years of an April Gloaming subscription (that’s 10 books per year!) ($240 value).

Give by Dec 31st, 2026 for your star to be on the first round to go up on the ceiling!
